iCharleston Fall 2019 Courses

All courses in the iCharleston Program transfer into College of Charleston provided students receive a C grade or higher. This follows national standards for US transfer policy with regards to college academic credit. Courses in iCharleston can satisfy graduation and general education requirements. Please note: only academic credit will transfer not the course letter grade or GPA.

All students are expected to register for five classes during their fall semester abroad which is the equivalent to 15 academic credits, or full-time standing. London, Dublin, and Rome have two required classes (Kelowna has one required class) which all students will register for during the fall semester. The remaining academic classes come from a specified list of classes at each partner institution. Courses are selected to coincide with the experiential nature of each campus and to take advantage of specific academic themes associated at each site. All students take a local and national cultural course to learn more about where they are living and studying during their fall semester. The Site Director sits in on this class to model classroom success and engage with some of the academic material the students are learning about throughout their study abroad experience.
